We conduct full diagnostic hearing testing to deliver more comprehensive hearing solutions like hearing aids and FM Systems for both children and adults. We emphasize on a family centered approach,
as we truly believe that better hearing brings people closer.
Hearing disorders can be diagnosed through audiometric tests carried out in a quiet environment. Hearing disorders are rehabilitated by prescribing amplification devices (hearing aids), and followed up with intervention to teach the child to recognize and respond to different sounds (both non-speech and speech) through the hearing device.
Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) is a listening disorder where the child can hear normally, but has difficulties interpreting what is heard, particularly in challenging listening situations like classrooms. Intervention for CAPD includes direct therapy designed to build the auditory processing ability of the child through targeted tasks, as well as the use of assistive listening devices to manage their difficulties in challenging listening environments.
